Adelaide Trail Runners are very excited to bring you the second Lofty's Revenge on Saturday June 27th, 2026!

You're going to love making your way from the city, or just out of it, to Mt. Lofty Summit. We guarantee, you will never have thought of going this way about it!

The 50km Ultra Marathon event will start at Felixstow Reserve, a short 10-minute drive to the North-East of the CBD. Runners will enjoy a nice smooth, almost flat, start along Linear Park, which is adjacent to the River Torrens. You will also enjoy the new "Aqueduct Trail" in Highbury which is just stunning and includes amazing views of Black Hill. For all the details on the course maps, please click on the link above.

There will be 3 distances to choose from. The 50km Ultra Marathon, and a 28km & 10km option, all finishing at the summit of Mt. Lofty. The 28km will start at Foxfield Oval in Athelstone and the 10km will start and finish at Mt Lofty Summit. The 50km has an elevation of 1,800m and is made up of approximately 70% trail and 30% road.

ATR are very excited to announce the introduction of

"Legends Entry"

ALL male & female winners of the 42-50+ km distance from the following events will receive a FREE entry to Lofty's Revenge in 2026

- Clare Valley Trail Run 2025

- Wonderland Run 2025

- Yurrebilla 2025

- Robe Run 2026

Additionally, the other podium finishers (top 3) of the 42-50+ km distance from Clare Valley 2025, Wonderland Run 2025 & Robe Run 2026 will also receive a 1/2 price entry for 2026.

We are very excited to welcome the "best of the best" for a showdown on the trails!

50km TEAMS EVENT!

Yes, there will be a 3-person teams' event again for the 50km only.

This is limited to 30 teams only.

LEG 1 - FELIXSTOW to BLACK HILL - 16.1km

LEG 2- BLACK HILL to NORTON SUMMIT - 19.5km

LEG 3 - NORTON SUMMIT to MT LOFTY - 14.6km

LEG 1 - All Trails 288m / Strava 168m

LEG 2- All Trails 923m / Strava 936m

LEG 3 - All Trails 582m / Strava 618m

Note: There are toilets at the start of each leg

There will only be 1 category for this event, and teams can be made up of any combination of Male & Female runners. The winning team members will all be awarded winners medals. All relay team members will earn a finishers medal.
