Adelaide Trail Runners are very excited to bring you the first ever SURF RUN on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. Located only a 1.5 hours' drive south of Adelaide, these coastal towns are some of SA's finest and most popular holiday destinations.
​
Port Elliot's, Horseshoe Bay, is where all the action will kick off from. Horseshoe Bay is one of the most stunning pieces of coastal land and looks more akin to something you might find on Australia's East Coast. Just incredible. All runs will head in the direction of Goolwa, a short 11km trip away. Both Port Elliot and Goolwa have loads of accommodation options, not to mention the thriving township of Victor Harbor, only 10 minutes away.

"Surf Run" will also act as Race #5 of the 2025-26 Summer Series
​
​
On offer is a 21.1km Half Marathon (Long), 15km (Medium), 10km (Short) and 5km on the Sunday. We will also hold a 2km Kids Race on the Saturday afternoon.
​
All finishers will receive a finishers medal, and this includes our 2km Kids run!
​​​​
ALL distances start and finish at the Port Elliot Caravan Park.

BIB PICK-UP & SPONSORS EXPO
​
Bib Pick-up & Sponsors Expo will be on Saturday March 14th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Port Elliot Caravan Park.
(Bibs can also be collected on race morning)

MEDAL PRESENTATIONS

The top-3 male & female finishers in all Sunday events will all be presented with winners' medals.

AID STATIONS
​
There will be Aid Stations at the turnaround points for each distance, so at the 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km & 10km mark. Public Toilets can also be seen on the course maps of which there are several versions available. Paper cups will be provided, but we would prefer you provide your own drinking vessel.
​
Provisions at the Aid Stations will be a combination of Lollie Snakes, Potato Chips, Water & Huma Electrolyte Drink.
Coca-Cola will only be available at the turnaround point of the 15km run. This means that 21.1km runners can access this at the 7.5km mark and the 12.5km mark, and 15km runners can access at their turnaround point. ​​
