Our first Clare Valley Trail Run was a huge success, and we'd love you to join us in 2025! The major change will be all brand-new courses, making sure we take in the very best trails of the Clare Valley. The NEW distance options are listed below and a link to provisional course maps is listed above.

​

10km   /   25km   / 50km

​

New in 2025, we will start to include an option for those who want to walk or hike our events! We will include this option for the 10km only. 

​

The Clare Valley located only 2 hours north of the Adelaide CBD is one of Australia's most prominent wine regions and is an absolutely beautiful part of the world to visit. With its abundance of wineries, and local attractions, this is sure to be an amazing weekend of fun and games.

All races are planned to start and finish at the Clare Showgrounds.

50km QUALIFYING CRITERIA

​

It is "preferred" that you have completed an ATR Summer Series Long Course, Robe Run 21.1km or 42.2km, or other races that are at least a half marathon distance with some elevation. You are not required to submit your races for approval. These are recommendations only. Please only enter the event distance that is suitable for your level of trail running experience. 

​

 

BIB PICK-UP & PRE-RACE DINNER - FRIDAY NIGHT

​

We are delighted to welcome the Sevenhill Hotel on board as a sponsor for our pre-race dinner and Bib Collection! We will be hosting a relaxed, and optional, pre-race dinner on the Friday evening with dining times commencing at 5:00pm. There is no need to book, just simply turn up when you like, the kitchen is open from 5:00pm and we have the whole outdoor area reserved. It is heated but warm clothing would still be a great idea. Bib Collection will be from 5:30-7:30pm.

DROP BAGS & SUPPORT

​

YES, Drop Bags are allowed for 50km. runners. These can be delivered to us at bib collection on Friday night or on race morning and must be clearly marked with your name and bib number. ​

These Drop Bags will be made available for you at Sevenhill Hotel which is at the 27.5km mark.

​

You may have supporters meet you on course with supplies, but this can ONLY be done at any of the Aid Stations and nowhere else. 

​

No "Buddy Runners" are permitted for any runners.

Aid Stations will have a mix of Water, Huma Electrolyte Drink, Coke, Lollies, Chips & Muesli Bars.

PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN DRINKING VESSEL

 

 

MANDATORY GEAR

​

Mandatory gear requirements are put in place for the safety of all runners and will be determined based on the weather forecast. At the very least ALL 50km runners MUST carry the following items > â€‹â€‹

​

Space Blanket, Whistle, Mobile Phone and the capacity to carry a minimum of 1L of fluids of which you must start with at least 500ml. 

​

If the weather turns bad, the following items will be added to your mandatory gear list >

​

Waterproof Jacket (any), Thermal Base Layer (top) and one headwear piece which can be a cap, beanie or buff, preferably a merino buff. 

​

This will be communicated with entrants via email during race week.

ATR will have space blankets, whistles and buffs for sale at the event. 

​
